The Liver

The Visionary

Spring and the Wood element is associated to creation, growth, expansion, initiation and beginnings. A time to plant the seeds and nurture our environments so that we can realise our dreams. Known as “baby Yang”, this is a reminder that Spring is not the maximum expression of this energy, so move with patience, flexibility and establish a steady root and foundation for growth.

The liver opens to the eyes and is seen as the visionary of the body. It is described as the master architect and when balanced helps us to feel grounded, purposeful and clear in our growth.
