the food
Our Chef Chris Bassett has kindly taken a weekend off running two successful London restaurants to come and prepare us some wholesome soul food. Food and produce is something that both Chris and I are very passionate about and we believe feasting and eating is a celebration of life, a ritual and a time to be grateful. The time we take to pause, come together and eat is as much a part of this retreat as everything else we do and is very much aligned with nature and seasonal living. Expect the food to be just as indulgent as it is healthy and nutritious. Chris will focus on local, seasonal produce to bring us the best of the British summer. We can’t wait to share this time with you at the table.
*all dietary requirements and allergies will be carefully catered for

Teacher and host - Jasmine Badr
Hi! I Imagine most that are reading this already know me, but if you don’t then I will introduce myself a little. Im Jasmine, Yoga, Qigong and Mindfulness coach and creator of Soul Garden. Im very excited you to welcome you to “homecoming” and I cant wait to meet you and share this special weekend of natural alignment together. If you would like to know more about me or SoulGarden please head to the “about” section of the website.

Chef - Chris Bassett
Chris, who has over 15 years experience in kitchens will take charge of the pots and pans to cook up some delicious seasonal food. He is the executive chef of 1* Portland restaurant and their sister, neighbourhood restaurant, Clipstone in Fitzrovia, London. We are very blessed to have him come along and share his wisdom of seasonal eating with us via our plates and taste buds.
Reiki Practitioner - Helen Calvert
Helen is a trauma informed Reiki practitioner. She qualified after navigating many intense and challenging years of traumatic and adverse experiences, while helping her son heal from a very rare and complex bone condition. Learning of the impact of trauma and working holistically with the energetics of the body gave answers in ways that allopathic medicine couldn’t. Helen now wishes to share her knowledge from her lived experiences with others, in the hope that they too can find relief and even resolution from any spiritual, emotional or physical discomfort they may be experiencing.
